Virility

Firstly it was mobile phones, now it is Hong Kong's most popular footwear: flip-flops. No wonder Hong Kong's population is declining.

Still, China's found a new way to employ 30,000 more censors. People often underestimate the extent the CCP is prepared to go to watch its populace. You don't stay in power for 60 plus years in the world's biggest country without watching what people are saying. While some are amazed, it is business as usual for China. The CCP will devote as many resources as it takes to keep an eye on what its people are saying about it. It's a matter of life and death for them.

Still, it's a pleasant thought that hundreds of Chinese censors will be wading through mounds of UR SO 6Y or CU @ 8 to protect Communism.

Of course the NSA has been doing this for years with cell phone calls, emails and satellite comunications, but it's what they do with the intercepts at the end of the day that will effect the public.

I thought that Hong Kong's population difficulties had more to do with the people getting out of Hong Kong before it is renaimed Hong Mao.

What the news article on fertility doesn't say is that phthalates are the softening agent use in plastics and synthetic fibres, so if you wear a traditional Chinese or Japanese sandle, which is made of wood and cloath, then you won't have any problems, or that phthalates act as a female hormon and can not only effect male fertility, but also create eastrogen related difficulties in women.

Simon, I knew there was a reason I always hated flip flops, even when living in Asia! Anyway, I was a bit disappointed I didn't see any info on the ASEAN conference. Too bad, I think you would have liked Powell's new rap/disco rendition of YMCA at the closing.

Be well!
