Nigerian scams
Australia has struck a key blow to the old Nigerian email scam thing. A 39-year-old Sydney man will face court today charged with 17 offences relating to a multi-million-dollar internet scam based in Australia. So you can now expect the extra room in your in-box to be taken by different spam to what you're used to. Although if you want to see a real scam, try this: Scalpers are asking more than $700 for Wiggles tickets as they tour New York. Even I received several junk mails from so called Nigerians who wanted me to help transfer some funds and make money in the process. Only idiots would believe such offers. Apparently, there are many idiots around :-) BTW, How is your Halloween party going?
